LATERAL RESPONSE OF DOUBLE SKIN TUBULAR COLUMN TO STEEL BEAM COMPOSITE FRAMES

چکیده
Concrete filled double-skin steel tubular (CFDST) column comprises two inner and outer tubes with infill concrete between tubes. CFDST columns are used in many structural systems such as offshore structures high rise buildings. The aim of this research is to examine the performance composite frames composed beam under influence lateral loading. were modeled analyzed utilizing ANSYS finite element (FE) software. linear nonlinear behavior materials confinement effects on considered analysis. Three key parameters present study. They axial load slenderness ratios well stiffness ratio beam–column. these evaluated comparatively. Load-deformation responses achieved for various cases investigation. verification developed FE model was by considering analysis results experimental data existing literature. findings attained from modeling consonance results. Besides, it observed that above had a substantial load-displacement relationship studied frames.
